Political moves

I seem to have a spare moment so I thought I'd post something. I think the new Hillary Clinton ad is a pretty genius way to promote herself. Now, I'm not that big of a Hillary fan, but I have to admit that this ad was a smart move. Probably not her idea, but she's smart for hiring smart people. She and her hubby are an incredibly powerful political couple and it's nice to see the two of them in a diner with the common folk. Plus, with the recent Sopranos shocker (I never watched the show, but I also don't live under a rock), she's put herself right smack in the middle of a huge pop culture hit. Genius, I tell you.

I've been doing lots of yoga lately. I'm also up to about 4.2-4.3 miles when I run. That's a lot for me. I feel pretty good and since I'm turning 30 in less than three weeks, the timing couldn't be better. Yes, I'm counting down the days to the beginning of the end. Just kidding. Every woman I know in her 30s says those years are way better than the 20s. Friends are coming in town the weekend before and family the weekend after and my birthday is in the middle of the week. I'll be celebrating for a while. I'm getting my birthday present for myself today. I'll post a picture after I get it, but I'm not saying what it is yet.

I have this muscle in my stomach that keeps twitching. It's been happening for about three days now and it's incredibly annoying.

busy bee

Apparently, when you get a promotion, your job responsibilities increase and you stay busy at work all the freakin time. Hence this being the first blog entry for quite some time. Not to mention the fact that we are laying new floors in our entire house except for the bathrooms, plus painting the bedrooms, plus scraping all of the "popcorn" off the ceiling in every single room. My house has been in a state of unorganization for quite some time, but it will be worth it in the end. Cody has worked so hard. I haven't done much, but pick up food and beer. Back to work. I'm tired.
